Wales based singer-songwriter Kate Doubleday is joined with multi -talented instrumentalist Trevor Lines (bass,/ukelele) and Dan Wilkins (guitar/kora) to ramble across lochs, marshes, valleys and estuaries on their UK national tour of RSPB reserves.
Kate’s original songs draw inspiration from nature and in particular from the beautiful mid-Wales Dyfi Valley. She will now perform the material right up close to nature, in order to evoke a sense of place and to take the audience on a journey into the wild where the music was conceived.
The tour will be a unique collaboration with the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) in bird hides and visitor centres across the UK. Kate will be enchanting audiences’ with an acoustic performance of her new work 'Freefalling'.
Audiences will be able to purchase the limited edition of the pre-released EP "Pied Flycatcher" due for release in Autumn 20ll.
"Her music is strongly spiritual, beautiful and inspirational, confident yet vulnerable, all the while intelligently conceived and executed." - Propergander Magazine
“A superb album” - Acoustic magazine

Kate's independent label Copper Records puts on events in interesting and unusual venues, festivals and gardens. We particularly love to perform to audiences where children are welcome.
Long term plans for the label are to create an Eco-Gig-Mobile (a live sustainable venue on wheels) which will be totally self-sufficient and reach rural areas. Bringing acoustic music to your door!
